2024.04.27 – The grass is always greener on the other side – sheep owners go comedy

Here’s a video, unfortunately in German only.

A sheep owner and breeder (!) – who loves his sheep soooo very much – has sheep killed by the wolf. A fence was installed by NABU and therefor should be insurmountable by any means. It wasn’t.

The commentator reports on the poor shepherd in a way that will bring a big grin to your face. He AND his sheep would have been attacked by the wolf. Hmm….. rather not.

When the commentator reached the yard and got out of the car, the camera was already there 😉 With a production that wouldn’t even get the golden raspberry, amateur acting performances are displayed here. It becomes clear to everyone: this is set. It seems strange, but it doesn’t necessarily change the truth of the matter. I personally would hate the cocky demeanor, but maybe that’s how it is with the North Germans.

He is allegedly being threatened, according to the commentator. In the shepherd’s descriptions, however, all that is said is that others should take the animals away from him and that he would not protect his animals. There is no threat apparent from the shepherd’s description. This massive “threat” is only the subject of the several-minute video for two seconds. A rogue, whoever…

NABU’s excuses – if they are true – are of course completely far-fetched, and we are sure: there is no such thing as a safe, mobile, affordable fence that protects animals from wolves.

At 3:06 you almost cry because of the completely unbelievable description of how much it hurts this shepherd that the wolf kills the sheep. He raises these sheep, for what purpose? What happens to the animals if the herd is too large? Are the animals all used in “ecological sheep farming”, which is supposed to justify keeping animals in order to save human lives? We doubt that there are that many dikes in Aurich – and the coast is far away. The fact is: he breeds the animals, he sells the animals, and the animals die because of him.

Just as the grief-stricken shepherd wants to say that he actually has nothing against the wolf, the video is cut 😉 Funny, right?

Nothing can be heard in the entire video about the alleged threat to the shepherd. Only from 4:29 onwards do you hear a latent threat being expressed towards other people (“or we have to show him what to do”).

Said shepherd isn’t just a breeder of rare breeds who keeps a few of them as “ecological lawnmowers,” but he makes money selling these animals that he loves so much. Maybe he sold his children too – or we are too stupid to understand why you would breed animals that you love sooooo much and then sell them. But probably with the money some dikes will be repaired. There’s always a good excuse for a breeder why he is such a good guy!

Conclusion: clickbait. And while we’re talking about who’s puking here: we’re puking too. Because of the poor acting, because of laughter at this hypocritical story.

It is clear to us: this is a new POI. Don’t touch wolves because you want to make profit with lifestock!!!! And let’s have an eye on the “Friesischer Verband Naturschutz” as well. They don’t even claim to save nature, as the wanty to have a “wolf-free environment”. That is probably not done with placing road signs “Wolf go home!”.
