We are currently renovating the house of our animal sanctuary. About 15 years with up to 9 dogs and three cats has left its marks. Step by step we will make this a little nicer place as we find the time and money is liquid.
First step was to renew all the sewer pipes in the house – they had become old and we feared them leaking soon. Now everything is fine for the next hundred years and the money was invested good.
Second step was to renovate the bathroom. We asked various specialized craftsmen in the vicinity. They were unfriendly, took prices as if we wanted to buy a Tesla car and some came to look but never made an offer. Guys from Siegerland, we got used to it and usually never buy things here.
So we looked elsewhere and found a great craftsman between Frankfurt and Würzburg. They were super-friendly from the beginning, had a bath-tup produced exclusively for our needs, from delivery of the tub to installation it took four days (a weekend in between). The bathroom was renovated in no time, they were pretty silent, left not dirt, still super-friendly and the price was 3,000 Euros less then here in Siegerland.
